Hi everyone. Back when we had the marketplace, a developer by the name of Michael Johns had a Donation app.

It allowed users to donate funds to the Forum.

It set a period of time, (usually a year) which then set the member back to the original status "Member" and also allowed a cumulative growth into a higher designated group with subsequent donations.

For example a member can become a Contributor>Supporter> Donor> Patron > Benefactor etc over a period of time and subject to the amount donated. I also set a colour to the group which was a further incentive.

Not sure if anyone here used it but I found it very useful for raising much needed funds for Hosting etc.
